About us

Here at Vale of Evesham Christian Centre we are

passionate about loving God and connecting with

people in the Vale of Evesham

What to expect on Sundays

A warm welcome, a relaxed family friendly atmosphere,

contemporary worship, relevant message, and a good cuppa. We

aim to be relevant, Jesus centered and led by the Holy Spirit.

Our Morning Celebration starts at 10:30am and ends round about 12 noon.  It is a mixture of praise and worship, teaching, sharing of what God is doing in our lives during the week and prayer.  There is almost always a special slot for children in the service. Do stay behind for refreshments, to meet and chat, after the service. There is a loop system in the hall, for anyone with hearing problems. If you are unsure about anything, please ask the Welcome Team.

Children

For 3yrs to 9 yrs there is a Children’s Event.  Those children who wish to take part will leave the service and go to the Youth Hall around 11 o clock.  Older children leave before the talk at about 11:25. Toilets (including baby-changing facilities) are near the doors at each end of the building.  The disabled toilet is at the Bewdley Street end of the building.  There is also a quiet prayer room/crèche at that end of the building if you need somewhere quiet to sit.  Whoever you are, wherever you're from, we want to help you discover God's plan and purposes for your life.

Leadership

The church is led by the Leadership Team which has recently been appointed to lead the church under the delegated authority of the Elders     (John King, Bryan Gittins and Steve Wilderspin).  The Leadership Team includes Angela and Mike Hepplewhite, Jonno and Tonia Smith, Steve and Nicky Wilderspin and Diane Bennett our Community Worker. Rachel Kennedy is our Youth Worker. She has been with us since August 2016 and has a vision and a passion for outreach and blessing the children and young people of the church and of the Vale. We work actively together with other local Christians to share God’s love with others in practical ways and in sharing the Good News of Jesus.

Church LInks

Our church has been a member of the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches) for a number of years and we remain committed to their Basis of Faith.  We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance. For further information on these two groups, please follow the links: We have recently (January 2015) formally linked with the Salt and Light Network of churches.  They are a group of Evangelical / Charismatic churches who share our passion for evangelism and seeing God at work in the transformation of lives and salvation of the lost. Here are some of our local Salt and Light churches.  Well worth a visit if you are near: City Church Worcester Pershore Community Church Colwall Community Church
