About us

Here at Vale of Evesham Christian Centre we are

passionate about loving God and connecting with

people in the Vale of Evesham.

What to expect on Sundays A warm welcome, a relaxed family friendly atmosphere, contemporary worship, a relevant message, and a good cuppa. We aim to be relevant, Jesus- centered and led by the Holy Spirit. Our Morning Celebration starts at 10:30am and ends round about 12 noon. It is a mixture of praise and worship, teaching, sharing of what God is doing in our lives during the week and prayer. There is almost always a special slot for children in the service. Do stay behind for refreshments, to meet and chat, after the service. There is a loop system in the hall, for anyone with hearing problems. If you are unsure about anything, please ask the Welcome Team.

Children

For children there is a Family Service once a month and Sunday School twice a month at present. For the children over about 8 years, there is the Chaos group during the service twice a month as well. If there is no children’s group on any one week, we provide some activities during the main talk, but thankfully those weeks are rare. Toilets (including baby-changing facilities) are near the doors at each end of the building. The disabled toilet is at the Bewdley Street end of the building. There is also a quiet prayer room/crèche at that end of the building if you need somewhere quiet to sit. Whoever you are, wherever you're from, we want to help you discover God's plan and purposes for your life.

Leadership

The church is led by the Pastor and Leadership Team. The Team includes Pastor Nev Green, Steve Wilderspin and John King (all Elders), Paulette Fortey and Diane Bennett our Community Worker. We work actively together with other local Christians to share God’s love with others in practical ways and in sharing the Good News of Jesus.

Church LInks

Our church was a member of the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches) for a number of years and we remain committed to their Doctrinal Basis - items 1-9 on the link (We do not subscribe to the ethos statements on Gospel Unity or Women in Leadership). We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance. We are formally linked with the Synergy Network of churches. They are a group of Evangelical / Charismatic churches who share our passion for evangelism and seeing God at work in the transformation of lives and salvation of the lost. Here are some of our local Synergy churches. Well worth a visit if you are near: City Church Worcester Pershore Community Church
